I started paxlovid on my 3rd day of covid symptoms. My main covid symptom has been the infamous omicron sore throat, along with a smattering of cold-like symptoms. I'm now on day 3 of paxlovid and I think my symptoms are finally starting to lessen a bit. Throat still feels rough but it's not like razorblades any more, and I can eat without hosing my throat down with benzocaine first. Paxlovid side effects seem negligible as far as I can tell. (I did have a bit of diarrhea yesterday, but it's hard to say if that's from the Paxlovid or not -- could just as well have been caused by the hundreds of menthol/benzocaine drops I've been sucking on to dull the pain in my throat...)
