Ideology of a Communist America

Hole I have my doubts that it would create its own ideology, as Lenin, Mao, Stalin, and Trotsky all developed their thought based on the incompatibility of their nations with Marxism, specifically the incompatibility of Marxism with a majority peasent nation (I believe Marx specifically identified Russia as incapable for proletariat revolution). Most of America's socialists and communists come from the labor movement so it would probably follow the concerns of te said movement.

Some people you might be interested in are Eugene V Debs, although I do not elieve him to be a communist in the strictest sense, he did run for president many times and did pretty well for a third (or fourth) party candidate. Another would be Daniel DeLeon who was another prominent american socialist, but I beleive he was more Marxist than Debs. Emma Goldman might be worth looking into although she was more of an anarchist. Mother Jones was a socialist, but Idont know much about her to say how. Finally the International Workers of the World is worth looking into. They were an incredibly prominent socialist labor union, and the first to allow black members. They are still active to this day. As you can probably already see, they shared some of communists asthetics
