If the bible is made up and demons are just real mean people what is the balance? --- If the bible is just a story maybe based on certain events though greatly exaggerated like comic books today, what stops evil people from doing evil as a spirit?

What are the "weapons" is just that, everyones go to is grab a bible or call your church but if its just fiction what can it do against something that doesn't believe which ties into the next part ->

If the spirit believes in god does it help in religious things affecting it? - pretty straightforward. Is the reason why so many religious relics that reportedly work because the asshole spirit/person also strongly believes. Thus if a time comes when religion takes a huge backseat what can we use against such people so we can live peacefully and not have to be terrified in out own homes.

I thought it was a pretty simple title to understand but I didn't have much word count left so I typed what I could. So basically right now even if the bible is not true there is still 2000 years of strict belief behind it and along with what we could call many spirits today since atheism really became huge this century. This balance could shift as we move further away from the bible (even if there is a creator I think the bible is bs and the creator is definitely not the bibles god) what will be our defense against paranormal things or will they just sort of fade away with religion and real or not in the end they stop existing.
