Toy Story was no joke.

What "league" are you talking about? I flew a desk, but I had a lot of friends who didn't. I was at a fighter base. I I understand saying that about special operators, but in a very large sense that is a generalization that I don't like. Yes, I'm getting touchy.

My neighbor growing up was a member of a team that operated out of Germany, I'm not really sure about what number it was. He had retired about the same time I started applying to different commissioning programs in '01, I was leaning toward the AF(the numbers were more female friendly) and he sat me down and explained why I should go that way. "OP, the thing you have to consider is how they treat their people. With the Army you go in the rec tent and there's a ping pong table with one paddle and a dented ball. There maaaay be a tv/vcr with a tape from 1988, if you're lucky. The AF? You go into their tent and they've got a big screen TV, video games, good movies...and nothing is broken. There's an actual floor. There's air conditioning....that's the way you want to go."

That statement made up my mind and your comment made me think of it. Sorry for the length.
