This may be two years old, but fatalities are dishonourable and disrespectful. Honour is paramount in any form of competition, like a video game. When someone plays only to win at the cost of honour, it comes across as weak and desperate. As for fatalities, they’re just annoying at this point. If I know you’ll try to to perform a fatality, you can watch the “connection lost” pop-up instead. For those who say it’s “cowardly” or “being a sore loser”, I would say you’re acting like a loser. Winners don’t further shit on their opponents after a win, unless they’re insecure in their victory. You won, be cool about it unless the other player was being annoying or dishonourable, then go ahead and fatality them as a final fuck you. Generally though, brutalities or nothing. Don’t waste my time with fatalities, I’d rather just quit.
