If you had to take over a YouTube channel, and continue its style, which one and why?

Vexillographer is a decently-sized channel with a similar niche to my own channel — Vexillographer has been a big influence on my channel, in fact. I've chatted with the guy behind it sometimes, made a video with him, and had a few things I designed get shown off in his videos.

Since the Vexillographer channel has been more or less abandoned at this point, as well as the similar channel Vexillology Hub, I've been trying to eventually take their torches with my own channel (with "limited" success, to put it that way). My own channel, while inspired by Vexillographer and Vexillology Hub, still has its own style and lately tends to be broader in topic and more long-form than those channels.

But still, while I like doing things my own way, I have sometimes daydreamed of Vexillographer handing me the keys to his channel, telling me how to make videos in his style, what personality to present with, giving me his list of video ideas, and just letting me have at it. For one, having a channel with 30,000+ subs sounds cool, but more importantly, I'd be filling a void on the flag enthusiast's side of YouTube. Besides, having 30,000+ subs just wouldn't be as impressive if I inherited them rather than earning them.

But yeah. I'd take over Vexillographer.
