If Only We Had Something Like This

I went to a tier 1 school. My 1L year I went to class about 50% of the time. 2L and 3L years I went to class 20% or less. I would study for 2-3 days for exams and not even intensely. The curve makes if relatively easy to get a B or C. I even took a few classes where everyone just got As.

It’s really hard to do well and be top 20% in law school, but even at a well respected school anyone can skate by and chill in the bottom 30%. I’m not proud of being lazy, it’s just the truth. I had other things I was more interested in like working full time at a pro basketball agency.

I honestly think that there should be a Bar Exam to at least weed out the people who can’t even focus for a couple of months to pass. But that’s not a perfect method either. Apprenticeship should be included in 3L for everyone.
