Thats fuckin gay dude, the meaningless of life is the most liberating thing imaginable. You can be whatever you want and it doesn't matter. Sure you may make some pragmatic decisions to improve quality of life while you are still hanging around but your ultimate goal can be whatever you want?

You can aim for the greatest heights for the sheer joy of the climb, ride the tiger cause its all goinimg down? If you're so inclined, go become a junkie and die young (bad ending).

My ultimate point is that meaning is self-generated (unless your religion tells you otherwise then im not gonna argue with ya) so you simply gotta play those cards however you will rather than pretend yoi have different cards.
