Hello. I have a few things I liked to ask.

By what standards do they judge our species intellect and how do they compare it to their own?

I have always believed in the possibility of extraterrestrial life, as from a logical standpoint, given what I was taught about what we know of space growing up, it only made sense. There have been several times in my life I thought I saw a potential extraterrestrial ship, as it's movements and shape did not resemble anything I knew of at the time, or in my research have seen since.

The first time was an orange circular craft that moved slowly in the sky. I say it was orange but I could not tell the actual color of the ship as it was shrouded in a translucent orange cloud that moved with it. This was after an encounter in which in the middle of the night when I was return to bed from going to the restroom I stop in shock as I saw three lights; red, yellow and blue shining through the closed blinds of my bedroom window, and shining right on my bed. The thing was the light did not seem stopped by the blinds at all. The lights slowly went along the window then disappeared. I ran outside and saw nothing afterwards. But was convinced it was an "alien". I was 8 or 9 at the time.

Just recently I was at a T-dock at the lake in my town, by myself in the middle of the night with cloudy skies. However when I was sitting there I noticed a section of cloud seemed off, as if it were floating there separate from the rest of the sky, and a bit closer to me than the rest. From this cloud I felt I was being watched. I was not afraid, but rather intrigued and thought it may have been a extraterrestrial ship cloaked with a cloud cover.

Just a few nights ago as I was going for a walk, I heard what sounded like a plane. Looking in the sky I saw some lights that I believed to be a plane, but the arrangement of lights seemed off, the sound compared to the speed was odd to me. Now I could explain these with it being nighttime and thus hard to see. But the freaking outline I saw on this thing was just so different. I tried and tried to see anything else, but the outline stayed consistent; a triangular shape with flat back with right angular curves on the side. Trying to describe it the best I can currently, I was very distracted at the time and did not pay the most attention.

What I am wondering is if your friends can shed any light on who or what I may have experienced, and if any of them may have been extraterrestrial, and not a human known-phenomenon.

And if any friend races are indeed out there, I am a very open minded and loving person. I only seek the betterment of life and peace among living beings; plants, animals and all life included. I've always tried to hold as open and scientific mindset that I can. I'm spiritual and even "spoke with 'God'" during some of my personal mental healing through the damage I had growing up with a lot of shit. I do not follow religion however. As a scientist I use observation and logical to try and find the truth; not what I am told by other humans. Other humans simply influence me, they must have a good reasoning for me to adapt their belief or thought.
