I wrote to a national organization for my profession and they were going to share my story story decided not to. The people at the top KNOW. I wanted to be a whistle blower at the last job but I was on the verge of a breakdown after months of gaslighting, sporadic isolation, death, and trauma. Since it is so widespread, if my name was ever attached to a complaint, it would likely be the end of my career. People around here talk, and there aren't many agencies. Like on day 1 a member of corporate told me my boss fucked a coworker before she became boss and that is why she can't be his direct supervisor. They would definitely spread the information.
