I just googled searched “accutane baby hair” and found this post. Im close to my final month of accutane and I noticed my hair was beginning to act very different after I got a hair treatment. It become really soft and I noticed more flyaways for that reason. But, I hope that didn’t cause breakage.

Anyhow, my hair has grown consistently during the course of accutane and feels very healthy (even before the treatment), but there’s a party of baby hairs at the top of my head. They’re very difficult to tame because my hair is soft. It doesn’t feel frizzy at all. I don’t use hot tools and always air dry. It’s hard to tell if there’s breakage and I really hope that’s not what it is.

I also noticed my nails are stronger. They used to break much more easily before accutane.

Correlation does not equal causation, but we may be onto something here ....
