No one? Literally no one, other than you, has ancestors from the target country that they are seeking to research? No one, other than you, has ever wanted to see an obituary of a relative that may have been published in the target country?

Are you confident that an obituary was published? Do you know if it is a common custom in the target country? Perhaps there are living descendants you can track down, who might be able to offer clues for your search...

All I'm suggesting is, if electronic records aren't freely available, you might need to track down people who can lead you to records, as you are doing by posting this question here. But go ahead, close off this avenue of research entirely if you want.
