These skills and experiences include but are not limited to: the ability to multitask, prioritize and change very quickly, working well under-pressure and constant interruptions, analyzing problems and finding solutions. I also possess the ability to take initiative by not waiting to be told what to do and always taking responsibility for my results. Working in all of these different kinds of environments has also given me the skills necessary to work productively with people from all different backgrounds and always handle uncomfortable and awkward interactions with care and discretion. Beyond general skills and experience, I would like to mention that I do in fact have experience working in academic library serials and acquisitions department. Specifically, in this environment I was responsible for processing new periodicals on a daily basis. I also would like to mention that I do have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint. In sum, I am the perfect applicant because experience working in libraries in addition to working in other customer service roles.
