Issues with child welfare and foster homes?

Except im sure you will continue to be involved in your kids lives. if they need advice, or wish to celebrate their achievements, or take you out for dinner to thank you for everything you've done for them, etc that's a possibility. that's not something i can do. maybe you're right though, i had this expectation that i was going to be apart of a caring and loving family, something i didnt have before. turns out they were just doing a job. i guess that's better than what some people have, so i should be grateful. I just think the whole system could be a whole lot better than what it is. it might be that this is the way it's supposed to be though, the system generates dependents on the government, and thats means they're more likely to vote for certain political parties who promise to address their needs. after all, the state is has been my guardian for the majority of my life.
