I love this response!

That's the thing - it's ignorance. I'm not excusing her beliefs and the racist memes she shared, but I feel like people saying there's no point in educating "a 40 something year old" because they'll never change is such a sad, simple, pessimistic attitude to have. It goes way deeper and it's so easy to scream RACIST!!!! and "cancel"/fire a person, but I feel like that does nothing really for anyone. It's not a good thing at all this happened, BUT on the plus side I have seen a lot of posts from people who didn't realize her micro aggressions towards Mary and it's become an educational moment for viewers to discuss and have conversations about. It's such a deep rooted thing, and I think for a lot of these housewives especially who live in their rich multi million fantasy bubbles and don't know what it's like in the real world, they're years behind, despite what has happened with BLM and the asian hate crimes. It's all surface level to them, a blip on the radar. It's easy to see what's happening on the news and be swayed by what outlets are telling them when the only exposure to people not like themselves is on the news and they're only hanging out with mostly white, rich women who aren't great, deep thinkers.

I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, and TBH while I never really liked Jennie and obviously am disgusted by the posts she shared, I hope she truly looks inward and IS able to go deep and have real discussions with SOMEONE that can make her see why sharing what she shared is truly racist and insensitive, how to be better.... How long would that take? How would she show it? Would people believe it? Hmmm.... who knows. Sorry, I'm rambling now!
