Thx for your thoughtful response. To be clear, I think both erika and Jen are mega narcissists and super toxic.

I agree that Erika’s attitude is part of why people dislike her, but for me Erika’s attitude doesn’t distinguish her from Jen because Jen’s attitude also sucks.

Like Erika, Jen also had zero sympathy for her victims last season, but people loved Jen last season. Even this season Jen continues to say she’s innocent (just like Erika claims she’s innocent), and people continue to be more into Jen than Erika even though Jen pled guilty while (ostensibly) erika is getting dismissed at least as an individual from certain cases.

So for me, Erika’s attitude can’t explain the general audience’s inconsistent reactions to two people with bad attitudes who both probably did really bad things.
