Job Promotion Decision

She makes about $60,000 (before tax) but this is still in growth phase as she runs her own business. It’s gone $25k, to $45k, to $65k over 2019-2022 and will grow again this year.

We don’t feel necessarily strapped but there are things like renovations we delay and plan for a few years down the road etc. We do need a new car soon and it isn’t completely financially stress free to do that, we have been putting it off and odd to keep saving so it isn’t such a blow when we do. Also, instead of two cars we will have one… which works fine for us, but who doesn’t love having a car each? So there are some compromises, but life is pretty ok.
