Joe Banner says Eagles’ head-coaching job is not viewed as very attractive to top candidates

The Eagles are a team that will likely be competing within a few years. We thought this team was falling apart in 2005, 2012 and 2015. Lurie is a good owner and has a history of having the team rebound fast.

I truthfully don’t understand why people think the Jaguars are more appealing. Yeah they’ll get someone who looks like they’ll get a very good QB, but they also have an owner who doesn’t give a fuck and more than likely holds that team back from competing. Lurie wants to win and works hard to try to make it happen.

Lurie has been one of the most successful owners in the league since buying the team. If coaches down want to come here because things are murky right now, then that’s probably a good thing because they’re dumb and shortsighted.
