Great question, but fundamentally I feel many men and women view "just" sex differently.

To add some additional context I would say that absolutely having great sex is paramount in a situation which has no future. Additionally, the opportunity to continue over some period of time, which then essentially means their has to be trust, a sense of fun, liking the person, etc. Does that mean I need to know their wants and dreams? Need to know what they had for lunch? Probably not.

My sense is many men want an "escort" like experience, where the women leaves directly after sex, no cuddling, etc. To them this is more akin to "just sex". At least from reading the many posts on here about what men are looking for, many want just a hookup.
