I live two lives.

For many years I was a traveling consultant, always out of town on weekdays. Then my job changed and became work from home, no longer requiring me to travel. I simply didn't inform my spouse. Every Monday morning I take a suitcase and go "to the airport" but where I actually go is to my second home on the other side of town. (I live in a large metro area that spans a couple of states, so going 50 miles to the other side of the metro is almost as good as going to a different city entirely. Nobody from the one neighborhood has any connection to the other.)

Mon-Fri I'm single. I'm juggling a couple of long term girlfriends who do not know about each other as well as being on tinder, match, etc. for one night stands and new hookups.

On Friday nights (or sometimes saturday morning) I "come home from the airport" and spend time with the wife and kids for the weekend.
