Is it just me?

I like the album. I said that in my post. I just don’t think it’s as good as the others and I’m not liking this mainstream direction the band is going. To me, most of the album sounds the same. Obviously DILA is different, and that could be a good thing. Listening to the album I feel like I’ve heard it before, I love some good muck production, Crazy=Genius is one of my favourite songs of all time, but that had some great lyrics and a kicking zoot vibe. Roaring 20’s was the one I was most excited for. It had a similar feel to C=G but again, felt like it was wrapped in a Nokia commercial, felt artificial. It’s a good album to throw on at a party, but not one I’d find myself listening to again and again.
