He was yelled at and corrected by another security guard, and a replacement was being sought, though we were in the middle of the show. It was too late though and Manson came over and did his thing. The crowd loved it.

You know what's really "great" about this is the fact this narrative made it into his book. Like on some level he thought this was an amusing anecdote worthy of including in his book so his legend status can live on.
