Kaitlyn says that she is 'going backwards' in planning her wedding to Shawn

I see where you're coming from definitely and I know a lot of people share your opinion. He proposed 8 months in but we've been together a few years now actually too and we live/own a house together. I am in my early twenties and he's six years older than I am. I don't know, I don't feel like I could possibly be more committed or more in love with my boyfriend. Being married isn't going to make me more in love or more committed. My issue with marrying him right now mainly stems that I still have growing to do. I want to be a happy, whole person and I don't feel like I am yet. The timing isn't the right yet even if I feel like the guy is. Maybe Shawn has a different mindset but if he's still telling her he sees a forever with her, that's all that matters and no bigger commitment than that. However, if he's stringing her along and has actual doubts if she's his person than I would agree with everyone.. but I don't see him saying that anywhere. Just that the timing isn't right for him for whatever reason. Who knows though but I don't think we should be the judge and telling her to break up with him. That will just cause unnecessary stress on their relationship, especially since Kaitlyn seems very invested into what her fans say.
