Fragaria is the most peaceful island in the Berry Atoll, shielded by the surrounding land mass from the coastal winds, light breezes and warm sunlight perpetually grace the island. Upon landing on the coast, visitors will be greeted by a friendly dockhand who is willing to provide a safe location for your ships to be moored they explore further into the island. Alongside the dock is a small fishing company that provides employment and income for many of the inhabitants of Yuko village. They welcome visitors who are interested in the process of fishing or purchasing fish.
A winding dirt path takes explorers past countless farms and windmills, which spin slowly in the gentle breeze. As it is sunny almost all the time, livestock such as cows and sheep actively graze in the paddocks, observing an travellers walking along the dirt path. A few farmhands watch over the herds, giving friendly greetings to anyone who passes by. After following the path for a bit over a mile, travellers will eventually reach Yuto village.
Yuto village is relatively small, with only a few dozen houses surrounding a large building in the village's centre, belonging to the Mayor. The villagers are particularly friendly to passing-by Marines, due to all their work to keep the seas and Berry Atoll relatively safe, however due to same positive interactions with some pirate crews in the past, they are also willing to be friendly to pirates who can prove their good will. However despite the idyllic setting of the village there does seem to be some problems, a few houses seem to be burnt and damaged, and the villagers in general seem to be slightly malnourished and on edge
After talking to a few villagers you discover the problem, the village is periodically raided every two months by a bunch of brigands known as the "Wolf Raiders" , the reason people are so on edge, is that they are expecting an attack within a day. The Mayor of the town, Mayor Foocha, invites any Marines and friendly pirates into his house, to discuss a possibility the visitors defeating the raiders once and for all
Mayor Foocha: "Visitors all welcome! cough cough I mean, Welcome all visitors!"
The Mayor turns his head to the side to remember what he was going to say, then his eyes light up
Mayor Foocha: "House my in to talk to you welcome I would, bandits bloodthirsty from town this defend to willing is anyone if cough cough I mean, If anyone is willing to defend this town from bloodthirsty bandits, I would welcome you to talk to me in my house!"
A few of the younger villagers who have gathered around giggle at the Mayor while the older ones smile with knowing embarrassment and half cover their face. The Mayor turns his head to the side to remember what to say next. But then quickly realises he is done and walks back inside.
Milton's Dock
Anyone who lands one the island will need to pay a 2,000,000 belli for their ship to be moored in the dock. If you chose to moor elsewhere, there is a chance that the raiders may sneak into your ship and steal items.
Carl's fishing company
The company is willing to hire strong workers (38+ STR) in order to do some grunt work of moving around barrels of fish. They are willing to pay 5,000,000 belli to anyone who helps. They also will directly sell a crate of fish for 1,000,000 belli
Mayor's House
Come here to discuss with the mayor how to defeat the raiders, Mayor is willing to give rewards to whomever makes a significant contribution to the defeat of the raiders. However the island is quite poor, so it is not certain how significant the reward will be
