Kyiv's mayor decries Germany's offer of 5,000 helmets to Ukraine as a 'joke' and asks if 'pillows' are next

I know this is why Iran is refusing to give up its nukes, but the United States can’t enter the war except by proxy, otherwise it’ll become a recipe for WW3. So that’s why we’re supplying Ukraine with weapons, training, etc, ie. “defense”, so Ukraine can defend itself against Russian aggression. So we are fulfilling the contractual obligations, but it would not be better if Kyiv has nukes because Russia would invade anyway and Kyiv wouldn’t use the nukes on Russia because it’d mean mutual destruction. This is why diplomacy and sanctions are so important. What I’m upset about with our leaders is the lack of sanctions, but that may happen in a few weeks.
