Labour party has lost nearly 26,000 members since mid-2016, report claims

Of course, as Corbyn apologists keep reminding the rest of us unreasonable, crazy people, this is all media persecution with no basis in reality. It's like Schrodinger's Corbyn - nothing that Corbyn does that can be considered negative or inconsistent ever matters, since Labour can't do anything with the Tories having the majority, and yet we should all clap and cheer because of the content of the very same principled amendments they didn't move a finger to push.

We should respect Corbyn's principled stand for a hard Brexit since it's his personal preference, and yet ignore that he chose to campaign for Remain under a platform of the end of "politics as usual."

We should just accept for some reason that Corbyn's opinion is now magically the end-all, be-all of validity for supporting a position, as if Remain didn't get support from the majority of its base and within its own party that is now left completely unrepresented just because a figure head disagrees with it.

We should just ignore that Tory and Labour policy with regards to Brexit is now virtually interchangeable, with the lead opposition party refusing to provide an alternative position and instead bending over and letting May have another go at every chance that they get by completely hand-waving away any leverage they have in the process and always pushing it through regardless of whether the amendments stick or not and being given nothing in return.

We should buy into these bullshit "Labour is between a rock and a hard place!" and "Is Labour's Brexit Dilemma Being Misunderstood???" stories, as if Labour doesn't have a smaller Leave constituency that voted to Leave but will choose party over single issue voting, and as if Corbyn isn't leaving 48% of the Brexit voter base on the table for someone else to take advantage of, choosing instead to pursue a position with a 4% lead that is already being represented better by a hugely popular cabinet that is already in power and following it to a T.

You deserve each other.
