Lawsuit against DPE

That's not how that works, and the future problems you'll have filing frivolous lawsuits isn't worth it. That being said I did take a tow truck company to court over $900 in damages just because the guy was an asshole and hung the phone up on me twice.

He showed up to court, mediator tried to get us to agree on $300 I said I wanted the full $900 or he could drive 2.5hr back to his house, 2.5hr back on the day of the court date (for some reason it couldn't be tried that day) 2.5hr back home after he loses the case and still has to pay me $900. The guy paid me the $900 in mediation.

If he REALLY wasn't going to pay me the $900 I would've taken a lower figure but I knew the 7.5hr of driving would've cost him more $ in time and that he would just pay me out.

Moral of the story, if you fuck someones car up, and they have video evidence and testimony from the repair shop that it was loaded from in writing, pay the guy before he has to take your ass to court.
