Thoughts on Air Wisconsin?

I’m only about to start IOE with them so I don’t have much experience with them yet, but so far I’ve liked it. Maybe others who’ve been here awhile will have more info about what life is actually like on the line.

Training was fast (~2.5 months) and I liked all the instructors. Talking with friends who went elsewhere it seems our systems class was more in-depth (anyone else wanna know the temperature range of the galley water or how many seconds the toilet motor runs when you flush it?) but everything was manageable.

We were told IAD is closing and another base won’t open for some time. Negotiations are still underway regarding pay raises etc. and we’ll hear more “soon”, which has been the case since I arrived. With the other holdouts raising their pay and forced upgrades I can’t imagine they can wait too much longer but I guess we’ll see.
