Yeah... of all companies I'd want with that sort of power, Facebook is right there at the bottom of that list. Come to think of it, I don't want any company literally turning my brain into a profit machine.

Besides; Where do things go if/once that happens? At what point does it turn from profitable to a support system for addicts? The further down this path you travel, the less profitable things become because your users are now non-functional vegetables.

How do you profit off people that can't make money to pay for this drug? After all, going down this path, that is exactly what this will become.

Scary isn't the word for this, this is frightening on a completely different level. If (and I still think we're a long way from this reality) this becomes possible, we could literally be on the verge of giving up our humanity.
