Legal Situation & Fostering Update

That's precisely what I'm saying. I'm hoping you've read my first post (not just this one) as it offers more context to my complaints with the system.

But essentially, the system separated him from his siblings, started preparing him for permanency by adoption by us and banned us from letting his visit any bio family including siblings except for supervised visits, told him nevermind that's not your permanency plan, forced him into overnight visits with grandparents then kept messing with the routine, eventually stopped visits altogether (which we then advocated to resume visits, but with the therapists recommendation in duration and frequency), and then kept asking him the same questions over and over. Also stopped sibling visits, so we advocated to get permission to facilitate those ourselves with their caregivers.

I'm not here looking for anyone's validation. There are enough licensed professionals involved in our situation irl that know all the details that have provided their support.

What I'm here looking for is those parents (foster and bio) and advocates that feel some of these battles against the system are overwhelming. I'm here to tell them that they are tough, but to protect these children, it's worth taking it on.
