My coaches for XC definitely are aware that my parents are not the most supportive and are a bit extreme, but they don’t know the extent of it. And yes, i am scared to speak up (i will not lie)

I have a younger sister and she has an decent relationship with my parents. She knows they do shit, but she forgives easily. I on the other hand talk back, which ends up provoking then further. But I have sat around for too long…

I don’t want to ruin her decent image of my parents and make her feel like I snatched her life away from her. Otherwise I would’ve reported a long time ago… it’s been a dilemma for a long time.

and i am 100% trying to get FAR away for college
