Let's be honest, most of us like upgrades, they come always with a ton of new features

This, this, this. Apple seems to cater to people that always want something new and shiny now, even if it doesn't work as well as what it just replaced. They don't care about professional creative types anymore. It's fine though. Once upon a time professional audio and video creatives were forced to pay the "Apple tax" because especially in the pro audio world, MacOs was far more solid for running Pro Tools. Also there was a time where Final Cut Pro was the industry standard. While it's still very popular, I see way more editing jobs for Premier and Avid. Any high demand professional creative software, that isn't written by Apple of course runs just fine in Windows. I've been using Apple hardware since the mid-1990s. I seriously doubt I'll be buying anymore.
