LGBT flag resemblance to Cusco flag dilemma?

It matters because well...there is obviously a chance I’m assuming things…but the hubris of some people in history is appalling. Coincidences happen. But sometimes one has got to question them a bit more?

For example: the situation where history books brainwashed us to believe Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492. He didn’t discover America. He encountered the continent. Discover isn’t a synonym of encounter. Discovery implies to adventure(for whichever reason) and be the first to encounter something. So therefore, it wasnt Columbus, nor the Vikings, nor the celts(as other people claim) that discovered America. the people from asia were the ones who did. They inhabited what is now the Bering strait and continued travel to what is now known as the Americas.
