Im trying to learn how to master, and i do have respect for anyone who learnt how to do it, and mixing is quite hard to figure out as well but i almost got that down now.

I’ve messed around with different styles of music, and new hip hop has some really defined high frequencies, its just that the bass is hard to get right. The 808 cuts through almost anything with some EQ work and a bit of levelling.

Music is art, and all genres have something to offer, and i guess from the few hip hop songs I’ve heard they were all mixed poorly, so that may just have given me a prejudice.

I do love producing EDM though, its always great being able to do whatever and not be confined to certain progressions or feelings!
