I don't have to ask. My sister works in Mumbai and parties all night and has felt pretty safe even in autos at 3AM. Not every place in India is a rapey shithole. Pretty sure the matriarch village women of Lakshadweep and North eastern would laugh to your assertion of them not being "free women." India is a big place, generalising the entire country is stupid and condescending. And there is no country where rapes and crimes don't happen. You don't see Americans or Britishers hating and berating their entire country everytime a rape happens.

And your army analogy doesn't even make sense. The entire army or even unit isn't punished if a soldier indulges in insolent acts. Similarly the entire country doesn't get punished for crimes of one citizen. Or are you willing to go to jail everytime a murder is committed? Clearly you aren't as intelligent as you think.
