Yeah I was wondering about that too. So I guess Marvel just wrapped up "Phase 4." I personally didn't know that Marvel was ruined by Phase 4.

Let me run down Phase 1, in case anyone forgot. Iron Man was a great movie and surprise hit for the summer of 2008. Hulk sucked-- Ed Norton was a nightmare to work with and he tanked the movie through his massive ego. Iron Man 2 also blows-- Jon Favreau was really constrained by studio interference and the movie was trying to do much at once (set up the Avengers, introduce Black Widow, set up Thor and Captain America, adapt demon in a bottle, and more). Thor was mid-tier-- Kenneth Branagh always phones it in when he's directing a corporate movie (see also: Artemis Fowl and Cinderella). Captain America is perceived as mid-tier but I think it is one of the most underrated superhero movies. IDK, I just like period pieces I guess. Then the Avengers is still probably the best MCU movie of all time.

So, of the first batch of MCU movies, 2 were good, 2 were bad, and 2 were somewhere in between. I'd say that Phase 4 has a similar ratio. It's a fairly even mix of good movies, bad movies, and mediocre movies. Capitalism didn't ruin Marvel, Marvel was always low culture. You can't ruin something that was never good.
