Work History
London and Mead: Paralegal (May 2014 – March 2015) London and Mead specializes in white collar crime, specifically civil, commercial, and intellectual property cases. As a paralegal, I coordinate across the company to ensure multiple projects for a single case are all running smoothly and that every piece of data is analyzed correctly. As part of a larger, ongoing project, I analyzed hundreds of thousands of lines of information for disparities in sales discounts given to the Federal Government versus commercial entities. My objective was to validate that the Federal Government was receiving the best discount quoted by the company. Outcome of this investigation is pending. Responsibilities include: -Analyzing data in Microsoft Excel -Organizing information to be easily understood by employer -Successfully organizing massive projects with other paralegals to ensure projects are organized efficiently and completed on time. I was originally hired part-time on a temporary basis, but due to the excellence of my work, I have been retained for numerous additional assignments. General Dynamics Information Technology GDIT, Health and Civilian Solutions Division: Intern (September 2013 – November 2013) GDIT provides information technology (IT) to the U.S. Government; state and local government and commercial sectors. With approximately 28,000 professionals worldwide, the company delivers IT enterprise solutions, manages large-scale, mission-critical IT programs and provides mission support services. While reporting directly to the VP/CTO, I worked closely with the GD delivery organization, marketing, and communications to develop a complete set of artifacts leveraged by business development, executive leadership and the GD partner ecosystem to position the organization in the market space. In this capacity, I researched GD’s current go-service offerings and solution and developed material in support of go-to-market strategy. Responsibilities included: -Conducting marketing research on General Dynamic’s top competitors providing cloud services in the Federal market space. -Analyzing cloud services;
-Collecting data on companies and services across multiple categories -Rating competitive offerings against services provided by GDIT -Organizing data according to specifications -Creating briefings in various formats including documents and presentations outlining findings and recommendations -Briefing executive management and team members. In addition, I prepared slide presentations for the Vice President/CTO’s use and briefed marketing managers on findings. Research from this study will be incorporated into a database for future use. Washington Sports Club: Front Desk (January 2014- May 2014) I was responsible for taking phone calls and assisting members in whatever way possible including fixing account issues, signing them up for classes or directing their calls accordingly. I was also in charge of assisting the members currently at the gym as well as ensuring that my work space was constantly clean. In addition to that, I was constantly having to fold towels to keep up with members' needs. The following jobs were completed while attending the West Virginia University full time.

Hollywood Theaters: Concessions Supervisor (May 2012 – July 2013) Responsibilities included training new employees resulting in increased efficiency and customer service; managing concession employees to effectively serve customers; and creating labels for products offered at the concessions stand resulting in an easier and transparent transaction process. Provided professional, friendly and knowledgeable customer service to patrons to enhance their movie going experience. Achieved a 95% increase in concession sales from small to large sizes resulting in highest sales volume of large-sized concessions for the entire theater.

Borman Bistro Dining Services, West Virginia University: Dining Services Specialist (March 2011 to May 2011).
Responsible for providing customer service in a fast paced environment. Specific duties include responsibility for all aspects of food preparation including managing the grill and re-stocking buffet items simultaneously; and washing dishes for more than 300 customers per shift. Managed cash register ensuring that all receipts balanced at the end of the shift. Sbarro Pizza: Dishwasher/ cashier / food preparer (September 2010 – February 2011) Responsible for all aspects of food preparation and service thereby increasing efficiency of lunch and dinner shifts. Established relationships with frequent customers resulting in higher sales per shift; and systematically re-organized the inventory room resulting in easier access to supplies.
