We are avid Vegas goers and I think Vegas seems SAFER on NYE. This will be our third year attending for NYE, and I’ve never felt uncomfortable. Especially if you’re in casino (they have cameras + security everywhere). We always stay on the strip near Caesars Rewards hotels and I’d suggest staying in this area(Linq, Bally’s, and Paris) or MLife. NYE is more strict. Some hotels will make you show room card before going up elevators to hotel room areas so you don’t have to worry too much about randoms wandering around. I’d suggest getting a Caesars Rewards card if you plan on casino hopping. On NYE they close down strip to vehicles and won’t allow strollers, + large bags. NO GLASS!! They do this since incident back in Oct 2017. I’ve always had a really fun time on NYE and I think biggest worry this year(for me) is COVID.
