You must not have that much dignity or personal integrity in your values if you actually feel obligated to pick the authoritarian regime in SYRIA (and not turkey and the us or wherever the fuck you're from so it's an easy pick rite?), over the islamist theocracy, because you feel more comfortable with the exact same form of gov't except secular because the only thing that decides the quality of life is the fact that the man who kills your neighbours and family members for their opinions is atleast not a muslim.

People like you who always like to seem so pragmatic in their arguments for supporting Assad, are ironically the most regressive and cuckolded ones since your only plan is to "get rid of the terrorists" and instead implement dictatorial sharia under the guise of "national security" (see, you guys aren't so different from the republican americans who want to bomb Syria and install zionist lizard presidents after all?).

Under a man like Bashar, there is no progression, no reforms, only controlled opposition and capitalists with political ties to every scum on earth influential enough to support and prolong the life of the regime to 40+ years.

With a world-wide hated regime there is none of that. Also why does it seem to me that Middle Easterners are all obsessed with the idea that if the dear iron fisted dictator is removed there will be nothing but amok? Have Arabs really settled for this?

Tbh most westerners who support Assad are like all the Yale student, liberal self-proclaimed intellectuals who let their bs-spewing palestinian friends convince them into going to pro-hamas rallies. And most Syrians residing in the west are told by their parents that Assad is protecting them from Israel and SAE, and most of these parents have family in Syria who own businesses that depend on the regime.

Like the Syrian actors who wanted to be on the "winning side" and have a job once the war was over so they proclaimed support for Assad.

These fuckers are no different from the people who thrived off the business with the nazi regime, and they will do anything to save their livelihoods.

So open your eyes and realize that you have no reason to support either side, and that everyone are equally as shitty. But if there's any side which is absolutely not what it claims to be, it's the government side.
