Guy in the first thread mentions "aiming directly at their chest" and when you slow down the video you can see him missing repeatedly due to flinch.

Guy in the 2nd thread isn't even complaining about hit reg, he's just pointing out the M16 sucks. Again, slow down the video and you'll see the misses.
