One of the things I love about 'bluey' is that Chilli and Bandit aren't perfect.

They're really great parents, and they make a bunch of mistakes, and they don't always know what their doing, or should do, and they don't always fix those mistakes either.

I hate when kids shows try to make the parents perfect. I'm not sure if it's better or worse than the absent/neglectful/dead trope but...

I donno, maybe I'm just threatened by them because my kids sure aren't getting perfect, I sure hope their getting 'good enough' and a loving home and all that but um, yea I connect with:

"we all fail mum-school sometimes" and I'm glad it's more than just a one off quote but lightly imbedded throughout.
