Remember that most of the people you talk to on Reddit are in their teens or early twenties and have little life experience and a young person’s tendency to take a judgmental and black and white view of the world. I would hazard a guess that most of the people commenting have never been married, have not had tough break ups from long-term relationships, and have little relevant life experience. Also, this sub isn’t moderated so a lot of hate and harassment gets through that would normally be removed in other subs. Your best bet would probably be to stop engaging with them. You won’t sway them once they have decided to hate you. It is the nature of Reddit.
