For example, my parents will not be much pleased if I have a boyfriend. Their attitude is shaped by a society which considers romance outside marriage as a scandal, arranged marriages as norm and marriage(and most choices in life) without parental(or rather family's consent) as a disgrace. But I don't feel sexually repressed or anything since I feel neither the need or desire to have any romantic relationship. Most probably(almost 95% possibility), I will marry a guy I barely know, chosen by my parents. I grew up seeing people getting married like this and most of them leading happy lives.

But, things will change if there is a conflict, if I get a motivation to deviate from all these. Till then I will be as happy and content as any woman in a loving, fulfilling relationship.
