I'm a recording engineer primarily, and in the recording world we're lucky enough to have a market where companies do make tools that work in an easier manner than using a different tool that has a clunkier way or less intuitive way of working.

I thought, oh, maybe I can find a tool that does a thing I need that would be easy to do. After all, it is quite easy to change a magenta shirt into a red shirt by simply clicking the magenta set of sliders and sliding the hue and you're done.

The tools within vegas seem to always affect far more colors than I want. Changing a single color drags a bunch of other colors with it, leading me not to want to change the single issue color at all. I just end up settling with it.

And yea, I see that after effects has a tool exactly like I would like. HSL secondary I think. I wish the HSL secondary worked like that in Vegas. It doesn't appear to, however.
