This woman went onto BBC news with a dildo on her shelf

Hey I'm back briefly online!

But yes, I think you and I can FINALLY agree! Hoooray!

Indeed it is, as you said her house, and she can display her dildos all she wants! I like it that she does that! Go girl!

But the main point of our discussion, was you trying to convince people that is the "norm". That everyone in Europe just does like her. They do not. They don't leave dildos on bookshelves in most homes in Europe. Not even close.

Now... again: do you and I wish everyone in Europe would do that? Sure! Why not! Like you said: it's their home.

But it's the norm to do that. Wish it was common practice. But reality says it's not a social custom!

Also note: when it comes to interviews with the BBC, it's the BBC's show, and their airwaves, and their stated broadcast "standards" and "norms".

So... if they wanted to interview me, and I placed some dildos on a bookshelf while setting up for the interview, and they noticed...

Then let's just say I wouldn't be too shocked if the show's producer then told me something to the effect of, "Nice dildos! But sorry that's not something this particular show is about. So we're going to have to say no to the interview."

And that's fine too. I don't have a right to force sex toys and dildos on someone else's show, that they're not comfortable with airing!

But sure: I do have an absolute right to say "Hey: if you want to interview me then it's going to be dildo background! Take it or leave it."

And they can make their informed decision.
