If my partner has never tried it before ever, I'd absolutely hope they would have an open mind.

But, if they HAVE done it before and were traumatized, I would not want that thing at all. I don't want our sex life to be associated with trauma in any way shape or form.

At the end of the day, there are a lot of ways to be sexual and have sex, and if my partner is uncomfortable with something for any reason, I am not just fine taking it off the table- I WANT it off the table. I don't think the bedroom is a place to be pushing people past their comfort zone. I want my partner comfortable 10000%%%% of the time, no matter how interested I am in a specific sexual thing. Otherwise, it sure seems like I am prioritizing MY sexual enjoyment over THEIR comfort.
