“The Mandalorian is a $100 million show about nothing"

I honestly do not understand why people dislike it; I get that maybe some just can't get into the universe but people are saying it's actively boring or just rubbish! Are people really that attention deficient? It's got less of an over arching plot and more of a episodic thing as opposed to a serialisation (kinda like early Star Trek Next Generation) but it does try to make things at least link together in a logical mannor and it has superb characterisation too. The format works in it's favour imo. I think it has excellent acting and it's very well made, the production quality is fantastic! They respected the source material pretty well too imo with some good call nods.

Reminds me of Dredd where the actor did a great portrayal and never had to take his helmet off. I always forget that Karl Urban was Dredd but in a good way, he did the role brilliantly.
