Marco Marco F*KN SIRIUS Fashion Show Part 2: Collection 4 Runway Show - LA Style Fashion Week

It doesn't threaten me that he relies on sex, it'd just be nice to see some versatility in the models he uses. Most of the male models that are wearing the male fashions are shredded, and seeing the platform that he has, it'd be nice to have some male models that don't look like Zeus personified. Half of those men couldn't walk a runway properly anyway, so it just seems as if he goes for body appearance over actual modeling talent.

I'm very familiar with those brands. While they have used sex to bring attention to themselves, not every single runway has been sex oriented. Even Victoria's Secret has shows with their clothing line, instead of only their lingerie line. Hoodies, shirts, pants, they're all featured.

I thought that mentioning I was an ally was relevant, because I'm tired of seeing many things LGBT oriented (such as the Marco Marco brand) being marketed towards the "horny gay" stereotype. It seems as if the community as a whole is being taken advantage of in that way (to me at least). As someone else commented on the thread for Pablo Hernandez' "Bitch I'm A Bottom" parody, the whole superficial "Oh look, I'm a hot guy, everyone drool over me" thing gets tiring. Why not throw some regular clothes into the mix like he did 2 seasons ago with the hoodies? Like I said, I know that his brand is provocative and mostly an underwear line, but why not show a little versatility?

Lastly, I gave the queens a pass because the queens are dressed as models usually are. Of course body and shape is silhouetted because they're selling female garments, but the clothes are fully in view and because showcased properly, whether they are well made or not. No breasts or butts are fully exposed (I mean how could they be haha), so in this sense it just seems as if he's using their names and brands in the same way other designers use well known models like Gisele, Adriana, etc. In my viewing anyway, the queens aren't overshadowing the clothes in the same way that the overtly muscular, chiseled male models are.

I really hope none of that came across negatively, I was just trying to answer your questions :)
