He doesn't get the baseline because he always appears shy and unwilling to interject. Why would the media give attention to someone who isn't assertive in such an environment when that is the entire show?

I agree we should be more frustrated with ABC, but the reality is if he doesn't play the part, he won't survive through it. Directing our energy into ABC isn't going to do anything. We've done it before and it got us nowhere. It's like Yang himself feels about Trump, who cares about him? Move onto things that will make an actual difference.

For us, that means stepping outside of the Yang media bubble, donating, canvassing, phonebanking, and textbanking. For him, that means adapting however means necessary. I believe it's possible for him to add more emotion into his talk without dropping the data/number talk. I love the man to death, he's aligned perfectly with my lifelong political views. But this is hard to watch over and over, and I think a lot of us are tired of pretending that everything is okay.
