Medical travel to the US

With all due respect, you are incorrect. For individuals entering Canada (whether it be from Europe, the US, or other) quarantine is mandatory for 14 days starting from the day you enter Canada (under the Quarantine Act). Unless you qualify for an exemption (which in this case you do not) you must quarantine. On the flight to Canada you will receive a form to fill out with your contact information (including a recognition that you will quarantine for 14 days) which you will present to the customs agent. The customs agent will then ask once more if you are aware of the 14 day quarantine before you proceed further.

The Quarantine Act was extended for the US until 21 September and it is anticipated it will continuously be renewed until the end of the year (the government is only able to renew in one month increments at this stage).
